When Kaho was just 13 years old he used to dream of becoming a professional musician. When he first started playing his flute in secondary school he really had no idea what all that even meant. Well, after having performed in numerous gigs, recording CD's and playing with hundreds of other musicians, bands, television shows and commercial jingles, Kaho has exceeded those musical goals he set for himself way back then.

Kaho started to learn flute in school when he was 13 because of friend’s influence. In his high school period, he participated in varies types of activity actively - playing flute in wind band, orchestra, etc. He was experiencing “devoted to music” in his university years. He set up numerous musical goals and hoped to reach the highest musical peak in his life.

Kaho received his Bachelor and Master Degree majoring in Music Composition, Music Education and Music Technology in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He obtained ATCL and LTCL with distinction in flute during university years. Meanwhile, he also self-taught and played saxophone as his second instrument. After his graduation from HKBU, he went to Boston and studied jazz performance in Berklee College of Music.

Kaho is now working as a Hong Kong based musician and frequently give performances in different musical scenes and venues such as HKCEC, Hong Kong City Hall, Sheung Wan Civic Centre, Fringe Club, Peel Fresco, Melting Pot, etc. Over the Years, he performed and recorded with numerous musicians and well-known artists like Laura Fygi, Ted Lo, Rubberband, Kay Tse, Chet Lam, William So, Patrick Lui, Renfrew Group, Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra, Island Express Jazz Orchestra, etc. In 2010, Kaho and Renfrew Group gave a opening performance for The Hong Kong International Jazz Festival. In 2011, Kaho and Draw 2 were guest performer in the Tai Chung International Jazz Festival.
